Exactly what threads are stripped?? you gave absolutly no clue but in the head???Do you mean the head bolt threads in the block? If so try heli coiling them as posted earlier.you can get them at any hardware store, but put therm in carefully or you'll re-**** yourself.

I just took my c5 block to a local machine shop and they helicored the ones that stripped out of the block. do you have ARP head studs. If not I would strongly recomend them so this doesn't happen again if you take the head off. good luck
Ok can you give me the basic run down of how to re-tap threads please ? My friend has a kit he said he would let me borrow ..But need some help explaining how it works

ask for a king coil! this one is a bit stronger over the long run! the helicoil is more like a bandage to get you buy! but if yo boost they apparently don't hold up that long!
whoever said helicoils are a quick fix they are wrong. Helicoils are a great replacement for aluminum threads and they are stronger than aluminum threads. alot of race teams will not build a motor that is aluminum threaded without replacing all the threads with helicoils because they are constantly tearing down and rebuilding the motors. I have been there and done it but one thing you must take your time in doing it or have someone that knows what they are doing do it for you.
Try this https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1382274 It's a sticky at the top of the FI forum.
