i dont know many people in cali but a street tune should be fine as long as the tuner knows his stuff, mine is for the most part street tuned. and we dnyo tuned it after that and didnt really get any where, just to give you an idea.

I have always heard you should get a street tune. Not sure with the dyno's now but they said that the dyno could not simulate all the loads the car would see during daily driving.

I street tuned my old setup myself and ran it for years. You cant beat a street tune for air/fuel ratios but if you want to get the timing spot on you really need a dyno. You should be fine as long as you're conservative with the timing.

Street Tunes RULE!

dyno tune if you want to know the exact number or plan on selling the car. dyno sheets help sell cars

you should really put it on the dyno.. a mustang dyno DOES simulate driving on the street because it loads the roller using special motors to simulate real conditions like wind vehicle weight and every thing. you get a more accurate tune (no flat spots in your power and torgue curve) and you get acctuall hp ang tq numbers.
the most important thing though if you do choose to tune on the street is that you use a wide band o2 sensor... got it.

you spent all this time and money putting your car together... tuning is just the last step. why try to cut corners when its most important not to?
