Default strange WRX -> b18c1 question

Is it possible to get the stock WRX turbo to work on a b18c1? If the flanges (downpipe and manifold) from the WRX get put onto a c1 manifold and downpipe, would it work with a little more custom fabrication? Thanks.

A turbo is a turbo, and anythings possible. But, I wouldn't bother with a wrx turbo on a gsr motor, it's way too small in my eyes. You can get a T3/T4 pretty cheap now days...

alright, next question. Would it be cheaper to get the t3/t4 with a b-series manifold and downpipe, or use the free wrx turbo and custom fabricate the manifold and downpipe? Thanks

It'll cost you more to have a decent manifold fabricated than it would cost you to get a rev hard mani. and dp. If you fabricate a manifold, you're still stuck with the wrong size turbo to make any real power on that motor. Just sell the wrx turbo on ebay or something and do it right.
