1.75 bar =
atmosphere (so take 1 bar away) + .75 bar (11.02) = 1.75 bar
you have to take atmospheric away.

Re: (Chris Tune)
Its a 1.75bar sensor that gives you the full 1.75bar range and then some. Not many sensors that play a key role will have a range less than what they are rated for.
BTW if it matters, 1.75bar OBD0 MAP's can only read about 10.8psi due to the diaphram being a diff design, OBD1+ MAP's read over 11psi.

Re: (HiProfile)
one problem with pushing a MAP sensor to the limit is you loose the overboost feature. if you are boosting a stock map sensor anywhere over 10psi, you will not have a reliable boost cut.

x2 and you dont want to do that... the boost cut will keep your motor alive if something goes wrong, like a wastegate line coming off or whatnot.
