Why Dave (SuperT) got banned? I talked to him again about the issue and he told me that the person in question got his money and the turbo kit that dave sold even before he started his business. So how is dave now the scammer. I have yet to see any response from the moderators/admins. This seems really swept under the rug without even attempting to listen to what dave has said. I guess i can just go around calling people scammers if i want somebody banned.

This isn't the right forum for this discussion, so maybe the mods can move it, but please keep it open.

On H-T it's too easy for someone to call a person or business a SCAMMER and everyone beleives it. Give the guy a chance to explain his side of the story.

 

This is the second good person I heard of getting banned in one day.

Since no one is letting Dave put in his side of the story and his IP is banned so he cant even view the boards... I will post it for him:

He wanted a refund for the missing turbo saying I was liable. I said I would not refund his money as fed ex says they delivered it.

Two weeks later, he sends this B.S. story-

"Good news: I just found out that one of my friends took the package from
the front door as a practical joke. He told me he did not open it, and
doesnt know what was in it, but thought it was a good payback joke. I have
yet to "talk" to him in person about it. Not cool, but I do want to let you
know I will get the turbo package in a hour or two. So I will be including
it back in the shipment and expect an immediate refund.


So now the missing parts turn up and he now wants a refund...

I said no, you tried to scam me out of a turbo you actually received...

He then called the police to try to force the refund...they would do nothing for him...

He then did a credit card chargeback and he got his full refund back...

So there is no longer any issue, it was resolved almost a year ago, yet I was banned with prejudice and not even asked my side of the story...

Truth is, I think we all know why I was banned, I believe a certain mod was looking for any excuse to ban me for retailiation for my previous controversial posts about another manufacturer on this board..

It is sad and unfortunate...

This is Harsh....I jsut recently heard that Tom was banned also...THis is the best place to come for Honda/Acura technical knowledge and parts. I don't see how these 2 reputable guys got banned.

I know Dave personally and I can attest that he is a great guy and stands behind everything he sells(even if it's not his products)....

I'm not trying to cause more drama to the story, but I just hope this will be cleared up somehow.

 

Man I didn't know stuff like that happened on here. I just bought 8 injectors from Tom (camp1320) and he seemed very nice and helpful, although we are still fixing the order. I don't think anyone can beat his price's on Seimen Deka's. Anyway's I hope someone can shed some light on this!

 

I spoke with Tom and it seems like it's all politics..........maybe everyones just want's a piece if the $$$$$?

I got my IC from tom and he is all cool I thought... sounds like to much competition and someone got their toes stepped on.

Given this is a 3rd party view and I have no clue what went on.

 

Maybe he had better prices than some vendors who do pay Honda-Tech for advertisments and they decided to bann him. I really think that was the case. To be honest with you, when ever I need a part I either post a thread to ask, or do a search. I have never really clicked on any of the advertisements unless it was by accident! I found Tom by doing a search for injectors and got my Seimen deka's for $250.00. Now tell me anyone else that can beat that?

Yea this is very dissapointing. I enjoyed both tom's and dave's presence on here. But for sure tom will be on http://www.ef-1.com. Honda Tech gets two this week.

Which ones would you fraternize?

I know of two that are currently being lax and incommunicative about orders... one since March 26th + still no tracking number.

Is anyone going to "expose" the mod that did this? I don't really know the story behind this, but I remember a couple months back when a bunch of threads were being locked because a mod was being criticized about selling practices (but, I could be mistaken). I suppose that someone (dustin?) does "0wnZ" this board, but it's a community and banning people and locking threads that aren't overtly negative is not cool in my book.

The thread wasnt deleted. It was moved to the moderators corner and we are looking into it. I am hearing both sides of the story to clear things up. So far, one party has provided me with credit card info and paypal transactions.

For the record, I did ban superTT, but not supert. The moderators have found Dave to be using different names, but I am sure there is a reason and he can explain it.

Tom, I found was banned by tony by not following the rules of the best buy forum after being warned several times.
