Still overheating/other problems.
Reaching the end of my rope here guys. Compression is still good, HG no leak, no smoke anywhere. Catchcan installed, new Thermo, new Aluminum rad, water pump has 4k miles on it at the most. Now I am getting hot on both upper and lower hoses but the effin thing as so much goddamn pressure it feels like the hoses are going to bust off like there is a clog somewhere almost.
I just replaced the rad as my lower core developed a hell of a leak (probably from over pressurization that I never noticed like it is now.
It drives perfectly fine until I get in it. Then it pulls like mad as always but starts to get hot, and lately, it's been out of control hot. Right about now I am inches away from selling the car for next to nothing just to start a new project I am so sick of it. Someone has to have some small words of wisdom.

does the temp drop back down quickly after you let off?
it might be your coolant return line from the turbo, if it goes directly to the sensor you will see big spikes after boosting because that coolant gets much hotter. try runing the return in a different path

No, it's oil cooled only man but that is one hell of a thing to remember just because I know a lot of guys with oil/water cooled turbos.
It's HOT period when it's been ridden hard.
I just went ghetto again and pulled out the thermostat and ran it again for a good while HARD, no overheating, not even close. It ran absolutely perfect aside from taking a bit longer to warm up.
This is the third thermostat I have been through and the damn things just aren't working right for me. I had not coolant pushing issues or anything else without the thermo in.
And yes, I do put them in the right way lol.
