The press cars show mid to high 12s stock, but press cars are always "special"
The US model does get the 2.5L motor, but does not get a twin scroll turbo. Runs 14.5psi stock on a IHI turbo (don't know much more about it). The intercooler is larger than the WRX, but still smaller than the JDM STI intercooler. This motor, unlike the WRX motor, has AVCS (something like vtec). It us rated at 300bhp and 300ft/lbs torque@4K , and car weights in at 3262 (wet, I think).
So far, the only state to get the car is Hawaii (because they aren't under Subaru of America, I think) the rest of us will have to wait. Probably land in June and on dealer's lots a few weeks after.
How do I know? I've been following this closely, and I have one on order.
