Default SSAC Turbo's

I need to know if the turbo's that SSAutoChrome sells say "Turbonetics" on them. I am purchasing a turbo from a guy also selling an SSAC mani, and I need to be sure that Im not buying one of their knock offs. TIA.

I've seen a few with a logo very reminiscent of turbonetics' cast into the turbine housing...

I could have sworn I did also. There was a guy at a local shop that had purchased their "special" of the turbo, manifold and downpipe.

I need to know how to differentiate the two ASAP. Thanks.

Yes, SSautocrap has a Turbonetics logo on the exhaust housing. The rest of it is cheezy as hell and homo. The tag on the compressor says "Turbocharger To4E" and "Turbo ZY". God those turbos are gay.....

I've experienced it. The casting was ****. I actually broke my turbine housing in three pieces just trying to get the studs in.

Uh, how do you think I knew it had that casted into the exhaust housing? I had one so STFU. If you say that turbo is better than a Garrett you obviously don't know much about turbos, or your old Garrett was junk, which is probably why you bought a new one :: I also have had the Wastegate and manifold and they are both crap. I know you're sticking up for them because you bought their crap and are tooo proud to admit you got fucked in the ***, but don't try to convince other people to buy shitty parts from that guy. The only thing that isn't fucked is the wastegate. The turbo is ****, the manifolds are ****, and the guy himself is ****.

You're going to hang several hundred dollars onto your motor with a manifold that is known to break?
I thought you were running a shitbird manifold?
