Should i spray in 1rst when at WOT with just i/h/e? I have a 97 civic ex with greddy exhaust, dc headers and aem cold air intake with 55 shot of nos.
id spray at WOT after the power kicks in, like roun 3500rpm when your clutch is totally engaged, then use it in 2nd, cause first gear goes kinda fast, use it most in 2nd and 3rd for that car.
You can launch w/ nitrous in any gear HOWEVER I would recommend keeping the rpms at or above 3500 at all times. DO NOT spray at or below 3000...this can cause problems: the engine isn't spinning fast enough (lay-man's terms) to compensate for an instantanious power boost and can/will cause nitrous backfire etc.
But most of all, have fun

From: hittin corners so hard you can taste my rims..
newb's on nitrous in 1st gear usually hear the rev limitor.. so i would recommend 2nd and on..
if you have the traction and reaction time of shifting in 1st on the bottle, ide go for it... if not, stick to the longer gears.
not to brag, but my track car is a fully built b16 on 100 shot, slicked down, i can squeez out of the hole, and run 12.5's... i can't even watch the tach, its more of hearing, and knowing when its time to shift.

if u are running a Honda ECU do not under any circumstances hit the Honda rev limiter on spray. The rev limiters cuts fuel. So if u are on spray in first gear and dont catch it b4 the limiter, then u just ran your engine lean. Not good at all. Best bet 2nd, 3rd and 4rth gear on spray only
