just found some pics of one of mycustomers cars he finallly posted up


did this car last month

old school datsun 280Z with a L28ET motor

t3t4 .57 trim with stage 5 turbine housing

SpoolinPerformance 3" downpipe
SpoolinPerformance 2.25 to 2.5 FMIC pipng
SpoolinPerformance external gatted stock cast manifold
3" exhaust
no cats
Spearco FMIC
turboXS RFL
tial 38MM wG
Billet fuel rail
aftermarket injectors
HOWES alum radiator... i had to weld brackets to keep the FMIC and the radiator up

please tell me he got overspray from painting the car on his turbo or something. Other than that, nice, I have a 280z although im not sure if im gonna turbo it or not.

yeah last few cars ive been workin on werent hondas. nissans/toyotas/ chevy avalanche hehehe its kinda cool workin with different cars but damn. things take twice as long.

heheh dont ge tme wrong i LOVE WORKING on hondas. i hate working on these other cars but ... to tell you the truth .. i get to charge them more money for my aggrivation but the work always comes out nice. kinda nice to see diff style set ups instead of doin the same ic pipe set up all the time or install. experience

Wow, the engine bay looks cool...the interior could use some recaros and carpet...workmanship looks really good as well.

projectDC2 we should compare some notes and stuff....i absolutely hear you on the frustration and 2x as long on non=honda cars. but like you said....usually the non honda guys arnt on as much of a tight budget, and cars like these obviously stuff has to be custom....so you can charge accordingly. honda stuff is getting pretty bad. its like you make 5 bucks on a 1000 dollar part now. car looks pretty good!


yea the interior is out of this car because we are doing a full cage, and im completely rewiring it inside (already did electromotive TECIII in the engine bay) im not looking forward to the interior. and yes he is doing leather recaro's i beleive, all new carpet, new fiberglass dash (im not doing that)...he has like 2 grand in guages....the whole rear is going to be all stereo'ed out....custom HRE wheels...and a custom wide body kit. when it leaves me it goes to the body sohp...then when it leaves there it goes to the stereo shop. must be nice.
