Spooling large turbo faster
I've read different theories here about using a supercharger or smaller turbo to help spool up a large turbo. I was wondering if anyone had ever tried using a small solid-fuel rocket engine to get one spinning. It would have to be mounted in some way so as not to interfere with the exhaust flow. Any ideas?

or a bigger engine
anyways what kind of turbo are you using?

I don't know much about nitrous. Can you shoot at low RPMs?

I have a jrsc. I like it, but all that turbo power is alluring.

The tuning would have to be good, but wouldn't raising your compression be a lot easier and cheaper, depending upon what the compression of the engine currently is.
Silly question. If you're running a big turbo, chances are you're going to be making big power. When you're making big power, turbo lag will help you get out of the hole, trust me.

I say rocket fuel is the best way to go. Add in a flux capacitor to control the mix and your turbo will spool before you even hit the gas.

Remember your going to need 1.21 Gigawatts to get that flux capacitor functioning properly, that's a lot of juice.

But if you don't have your photon lasers charged up with the proper lithium crystals then all your efforts are useless.

Better muffler bearings always helps too...i've got the racing kind ..you know the ones that blow flames when you hit the gas....great for a better launch!
isn't APC selling some type of rocket turbo kit for the new k-series motors?
its supposed to add like 350 hp on a stock bottom end.
look into it, i hear the kit is mad cheap.

Try getting supplies to do that nowadays... not to mention that no track would let you run it.
Even ignoring all of that, you would probably just melt your turbine wheel and turbine housing into scrap metal before you even got out of the hole. Intresting idea though.
