Speedpro ECU fuel issues
Fired up my motor with the Speedpro tonite and it started up fine and i let it run for a few seconds before shutting it down to check for any abnormalites before letting it run any longer. It started and ran fine, but after i shut it down and tried to start it back up it wouldn't start again. Nothing was touched in between. We pulled the spark plugs and wires to check for spark and it's getting spark. The fuel pump is priming normally and i'm getting around 40-45psi of fuel pressure in the rail. We pulled the fuel injector clips and cranked it over to check for any flux in voltage signal and it was dead while i cranked the motor but spiked a little after i let off the starter. Also, we cranked the motor over for atleast 2 minutes on and off with the fuel system primed yet i couldn't smell any gas fumes on the spark plugs. I uploaded a back up LS calibration file but that didn't solve the problem either. I'm running a 97 LS, 60-1 turbo, RC 550cc injectors, stock pump, SX regulator, MSD 6AL, and the Bank to Bank Speedpro/Fast ECU. All the connections look fine and well connected so i'm at a dead end at why i'm not getting any fuel through the injectors.

1) are you seeing rpm on the laptop when cranking ?
if not pull off your distributor cap and the entire distributor assembly, spin the rotor while ignition is on, you should hear the injectors click. Since you have B2B, they should all click the same time in batch. If this noit happening then one of your distrib wires got disconnected.
2) recheck silly things like ground and TPS, coolat sensor connectors.
3) what does your inj duty say on the laptop when cranking ?

Turns out the problem was i wasn't getting a good 12v positive source to the ECU so it wasn't getting enough juice while i was cranking the motor. I talked to Rob at Force-EFI and he told me to tap the pink 12V switch wire directly to the battery to see if that was the problem. Motor cranks up fine now but shuts off after a few seconds. I'm going to play with my calibration file to see what's killing it. What do you speedpro users have your crank reference angle set to in the global parameters setting?
your crank ref angle should be set based on what you see your timing its adjutable value in that when you adjust it it should also match what you see in your igntion map. If you look at it . You should see same crank timing as you see on the speed pro screen you need to play with it and adjust so it matches.
Viren, when i load up the map to the speedpro ECU and then go to my dashboard setting on my laptop, the ignition spark reads 20 degrees BTDC but my base timing on the motor is set at 16 degrees BTDC. Also i'm not running an IAC valve so i'm having trouble keeping the motor running on a cold startup. If i peddle the throttle i can keep it running but as soon as i let off it dies. How can i compensate for the IAC vavle?
