I've got a Turbo GSR and one morning i came to start it and it was smoking white. So i took it to the mechanic and he found out that my cylinder Walls were scratched to hell. He said that it was due to bad gas, and the gas pre ignited and blew a spark plug up and sent little chunks which scratched the walls. Just wondering if this is possible because it sounds like a far fetched story?

 

its possible, with bad enough detonation or maybe a freak plug. Did it happen on 1 or all the cylinders?
