BCPRES-11. They're cold spark plugs and I love them. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Is that spark plug code for b series motors, or d series? Does it even matter? Do they use the same plugs??

i'm almost done with my boosted accord...my tuner linked me to the R5671A-7's. I'm going to try gapping them at .030 and see what luck i have. A lot of the motors spoken about here are smaller than mine but i'll see what luck i have

How do you know what plugs to run if you never boosted before? not to mention if you don't know how much hp your motor will make after tune? i always run NGK's (i trust them the most), how do you know when you need to go colder or hotter?
.034 on my setup, b16 at 9lbs. few thousand miles of great driving. generally but not always the larger the gap u can run the better. just have to watch for blowout.

what is your setup, im sure we could give you an hp estimate or recommend a plug based off what turbo and how much boost you plan on running. generally you can use 7's up to 400whp then might want to step up to 8's in the 450-500 range
I have a hard time finding copper 8s, so I'd love it if you could post up some more information on what this plug is?!?! If it's the Iridium 8, then that's cool, but I can get Iridium 9s, and those are fine when I'm spending the big bucks! Hah hah. . .
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
Found this on another forum from 2006, someone asking about a bkr8e stock number

Thanks man, I think that pretty much explains it then!
Just to make sure, I'm assuming they don't make a cheap version (looks like copper isn't correct from that last post, nickel alloy I guess?) of a 9? BKR9E? ? ? THAT would be SWEEEEEEET!

it all depends on your boost pressure, ignition system etc.... you cant just say run .030" for turbo.
most stock motor turbo setups in the 10psi range i run .026-.028 gap.
my 425hp car last year ran bkr7e's gapped down to .020" on a bone stock ignition and plug wires.

Same here, actually anywhere between .026-.028" is what I've been running, mostly with these plugs, and my idle is as perfect as my tune will let it be on any given day (always changing it! LOL).
As for the 9s, I don't really need them, but I'm running a stock Neon bottom end right now, and they are known for liking to blow up around 250 ft/lbs., so I'm trying hard to avoid detonation and keep my luck on the good side.
Once I finally get around to getting the good bottom end put together I will push my luck with a lot of boost, so I'll still want 9s! They run perfectly for me, they're just expensive.
Oh, and for the people who are running the -11s, they just start out with a 1.1mm gap, which means you have to ungap them more. Doesn't make sense to me. . .

A little more info on the miss at idle please anyone. Im running 15 lbs on ngk7 gapped at .29. I have changed my distributor cap and rotor any one have any ideas? Its just kinda annoying rather then any effect on my performance ive noticed.
I see everyone runnin 7's with higher boost/hp cars. I'm just goin to be runnin a d16z6 with around 10-12psi. Would this still be the right plug and just play with gap or use a diff plug?
