Default some turbo questions

Well, I had a greddy (15g) turbo-ls in my Crx. Then I sold it and went all motor ls/vtec. I just recently bought a '95 GSR w/o drivetrain. I was thinking about going ls turbo on this car, I don't think all motor could move this heavy car.

I haven't been reading this forum for a while. I need some experiences you guys have. I don't have much money so I need the most cost effective parts that is reliable with daily use. I know that sounds stupid, but at least closest to being reliable. I usually don't drive my car too hard, only on few ocassions.

What's good out there?

I know people like Garret turbos compared to Turbonetics. (what's a good size/trim; I'm going to work on stock ls motor and maybe 8-10psi).

I'm probably go with a Tial wastegate (I'm new to this since the Greddy uses an internal wastegate.)

I had a spearco intercooler and it was good to me. What are other good choices? Would a Starion IC work okay?

I had a MSD 6btm, would I need some sort of ignition for 8-10psi?

I'm planning on running DSM 440 injectors, maybe on one of those SMC (Zip22 on clubsi.com). If not that, would a Hondata 2b be adequate? Does anyone have experience with these injectors?

I'm on a budget. Would it be cheaper to get a complete kit or just look around for parts to piece together a kit?

Could you guys tell me what you guys have good experience with and what to steer away from? Thanks alot for all inputs.

If you are looking for budget turbo the only way is homemade. Get a used turbo of a junkyard car, get it rebuilt if it needs and work up from there. Scour classifieds for used parts and ask here for whether the parts will work together. I am currently running a homemade ZC turbo and I love it. For the turbo setup only about 2000 (canadian) has been spent. I am current runing a td05h-18G from an eclipse, a homemade manifold, TurboXS Type-S BOV, no IC, and the only fuel mangement I am using is a B&M FPR. Spark plugs show no pitting (detonation). My best time was 14.9 with a 2.5 60' 30+ degree celcuis (really hot) and the time correct (supposedly) for this track is .4 (so technically a 14.5) and this was at almost 96mph. These are on crappy stock tires (from my previous '00 civic)

Thanks.

I think I'd like to go a little bigger than the junkyard turbo (like a T3/T4). I've seen a lot of people with D-series manifold (made from HF) but I haven't seen much about homemade B-series manifold (well at least ones that are very affordable).

I would like to keep the AC, that's the reason I chose the Integra.

I've seen a few b16a putting out good power, there is a couple of turbo itrs that aren't responding too well, I haven't seen any turbo gsr around here, and one ls turbo? Which stock motor handles boost well and make good power. I know the ls has the largest displacement and it has the lowest compression ratio. Is there still the debate over vtec or non-vtec for boosting?

Thanks.

What components do you guys think work together well?

The eclipse turbos are fairly large and are good for some decent power, I think I saw somewhere someone was getting 400whp from the 16G. As for manifold, I am not sure if there is an easy homemade for b-series....
