some progress on my car
here is some progress pics of my car i know it's not a honda but since i'm on here everyday i wanna post
the motor is a custom built 16v using a 16v head and an 8v block to get a longer and better rod ratio, 8.1:1 compression, arp head studs, the motor actually has parts from like 5 different VW motors
the a/c condensor is now gone and i pushed the radiator back like 3" so now i have plenty of room for an FMIC
my intake manifold getting built, i will have more pics of it tonigth after i stop by the shop
this turbo will be going on it, ITS gts61
the turbo manifold is getting built next week and will be a tubular equal legnht manifold

well the head bolt right on, but to make everything work you gotta install a 16v oil pump and drive gear and a 16v intermediate shaft and a 16v crank pulley

Re: (boosted jetta)
HAHAHA My friend just showed me this, I saw this posted over in the Forced Induction forum on the Vortex. Looks good!!!!
Im starting to piece together the same motor setup for my car, what are you using for fueling?
Im thinking of SDS because there are 2 local 16vT running it and they said by the time I get to it, they will have learned it pretty well. Also Im just shooting for at least 225hp and hopefully 300hp well done the road.

Re: (boosted jetta)
what kinda power are you lookin to get?? i want to do a turbo set up on my mk3 jetta, i have seen spooled from vwvortex and his cars sick but not that fast and he has spent gobs upon gobs of money on it, but he is a 8v, does the 16 head on a 2.0 make one hell of a difference?? or would it be better just to swap in a vr6

Re: (eddiecut)
yes that would be my car above except now i will be running a bigger intercooler and it will actually fit better
for engine management i'm digifant 1 injection for a corrado g60, pre OBD1
i'm gonna be running 7psi in the begining and i'm looking to make atleast 225whp @ 7psi and well over 300whp at 15psi, this car will not be a 1/4 mile car, i will take it to the track and race it but i'm mostly building it to be a highway beast and road course car, i'll have more pics tonight

Re: (boosted jetta)
I got a GT35R, i beleive you have something similar but made by ITS instead and not dual Ball Bearing, also, IIRC you have a .63hotside with either a stage3 or 5 turbine, i have a .82 with the new GT turbine wheel that flows a ton, I win.
