I know this topic has been adressed but i havent really herd anything on this that says these are good or these are bad so I have been debating between Crane, CROWER, SKUNK2 and a few others and im totaly lost on which one to purchase for my Y8 head? any help/ experiences would be great.

I went with crower.

 

do you like them? is the idle lumpy and which stage did you go with? and did it make a difrence in power curve?

 

I'll let you know once I get the car running. Just finishing up putting together my new turbo setup.

 

Turbo cams shouldn't be lumpy. Turbo engines don't benefit as much from overlap. Usually the duration is only a slight different from stock, but the lift is much higher.

 

I am going with the Crower turbo cam for my d-series project. I have taken a look at all the turbo d cams that are available, and for the money and specs on paper it seems to be the best choice. Who knows how it is going to preform though. I might get a slight boost in performance from the cam running 11:1 compression, over lower compression set-ups.
