sohc (notch the sleeves with eagle rods??)

Default sohc (notch the sleeves with eagle rods??)

do you have to notch the sleeves to run eagle h beam rods in a sohc? searched but with no luck... pics would be helpful thanks....

You notch the block, not the sleeves..

pretty much an h-beam style rod, some of the i-beams such as crowers dont need notching

well in my bros motor we just got built its a d16y8 we used Eagle H beams had to notch the block and notch the cradle if you didnt notch the cradle the bolts on the rods would hit when it came down.

well there is pauter and carrillo but those cost 3 times as much as eagles, notching the block is very easy and can be done in a 1/2 hour
