I have a friend that got a great deal on a Sohc Drag kit but his car is a Dohc LS motor, We where thinking of getting a new manifold but Cash is low, so we have to redrill his sohc manifold, Has anyone done this even with a greddy header. I need so advice first hand cause I dont want to take his exhaust off and then to find out that the hole are too off and nothing can be done.

 

Ive heard of people doing this with D-series to B-series manifold swaps, but never actually seen one done...

 

i've done it... but i used a stock cx manifold and redrilled holes and attempted to portmatch mani... overall it was worth it for the time being... until i can afford a real turbo manifold...

 

just post on http://www.thepartstrader.com and either do a trade for the sohc to dohc drag manifold or sell the sohc and buy the dohc. either way... you shouldnt be playing around with a turbo if you dont even have enough money for a manifold. i'm going to have at least $500 backup money for when i break **** in my car.

 

if cash is that low do him a favor and keep him from buying a turbo
