Must have been an enormous turbo to make enough hp for a 12 second 1/4 at only 12psi.

what caused the blow? bad tuning?

 

umm i think it was the fact that the car had been runing for a 1 year and the motor has seen 17 lbs and it was just time for it 2 go...... yes it was a nice lil turbo on there super 60 t3 nothing fancy... ran 12.4 with an hf.. got the ssautojunk and ran 12.1...

i ran a 12.666 today in my ej with b18c1 7.4 psi boost full interior, ac, power steering

well at least you done a good job of destroying that one.

God damn, that **** tore the whole block down. How did it happen? Specs of the motor? Tuned?

 

i bet it scared the **** out of you when that thing let go

 

u must have overboosted to like 20+psi and u were reving pretty high when that happened
in order to snap them all at once, it takes pretty fast but strong detonation at high RPM's and high boost
OR you hyrdo locked it
because even by having a block guard, the sleeves would have been gone too
by the way, all i see is pistons, rods, oil pan, block guard.... ur missing a block? where is it at lol
