hey guys, i have a quick question. I have a 2000 S2000 w/ an inlinePRO turbo kit. The car runs amazing, i just recently put down 380whp @ 9lbs with a slipping clutch. Like i said all is fine, except the car smokes from the exhaust off throttle...when i first got tuned it only did it some times but lately its more often. Its not a white smoke, but looks like oil smoke and only occurs off throttle. In boost or on the gas there is no smoke but once i let off it starts smoking. Some answers ive gotten seem to be pointed towards a bad turbo seal. Its a GT35R and would be covered under warrenty but before i take the time to pull the turbo off and sent away i want to make sure that is what it is. Thanks guys

Is it when you are coasting in gear? Like decelerating? If so, I have the same problem. Probably turbo seal or valve seals.

Yeah pull off your turbo charge pipe just at every tube to coupler and see if there is oil plastered everwhere, I doubt an S2000 has valve seal problems.

My turbo seals only leak on the exhaust side. So I have no oil in my charge pipes. That method is good but sometimes only the hot side leaks. It only takes a tiny drop to make a cloud of smoke.

Re: (MidShipCivic)
In a non turbo car I would say valve seals in a second. But not sure.
