My car blows just a little bit of dark colored smoke out the exhaust pipe only when its in boost...

i noticed it the other day when I let a buddy of mine drive it.

Its probably oil burning... what can i inspect and do to fix it?

first thing's first...be observant of your oil levels everytime your car cools.

it sounds like you're running fatty rich under boost tho....if that's the case...it's quite normal (safe).

 

i fyou are burning oil, hte smoke would be white.

 

umm no. if you are burning oil your oil would be blue. if you are burnint water/coolant your smoke would be white.

well white = coolant = new head gasket

if its normal to blow a lil blue out the back, then ok i'll sleep better

dark/black = rich...

blue = oil
