unless the fan is made as a pusher, it is more effecient as a puller, although my fal fan i have on my fluidyne, i converted to a pusher, and had no issues. just make sure you reverse the polarity to have the fan spin the correct way. he hee.

depends on the brand/style -- but if it flows enough cfm's in either direction you should be fine.

personally running a pusher style, at 1200 cfm, just to save space.

pusher style is sopesed to be 80% as effeceint as a puller. So if you do a pusher just back sure it flow a little more.

I run a pusher fan and aluminum radiatior and it works well.

Yup, I couldn't tell you why, but for some reason it's more efficient to run it as a puller if you can get away with it.

The only reason I would run it as a pusher would be if I needed the space. But my fan is so slim anyways it barely sticks out.

But each fan is designed to work a better way ( pusher or puller ) , should say in the instructions. Ours do, I was pretty surprised to see it in the instructions.

it is actually because when it is setup as a puller, the air goes through the rad first then the fan, when setup as a pusher, the air has a restriction because it has to go through the fan before being pushed through the radiator. hope that makes sense. he hee

^that sounds right...

i also read that pusher style is a little less efficent due to the way the blades of the fan are angled.
