Default Slight dilema...Looking for your thoughts!

I am building my b18c1 right now and well the bottom end is all done and is being assembled. I am looking for like 450whp on pump gas. I am trying to decided whether or not i should build the head while it is out of the car or not...? It doesnt matter about downtime for this car, I am just really getting the itch to drive the car. I am going to build up the fuel setup and transmission first, if i dont build the head right now. And if i decide to not build the head right now i plan on boosting and building the head in like september.

Thoughts on this would be appreciated.

The only thing i ask is that you dont ask about my setup, it is definately sufficient for my goals and i dont think that the setup is relevant in your opinion on what you would do first.

Thanks and let me know what you would do!

Boost soon? and Head later or vice versa?

Thanks guys i always appreciate the HT opinions and help!

EDIT: Forgot to add, If I build the head now i wont have money to get this thing running for like 3 more months and maybe more. later down the line pulling the head is not a big deal, so...

Boy i guess i am basically making my own decision here, i need to put this thing together and go from there :EDIT

I think you should go head and do it all!!! that way you dont have to take it apart some other time, also is going to help you reack your HP goal!!!

You can make a ton of horsepower on the stock head. Build it later if you decide you haven't made enough horsepower.

boost now. head work is not very cost effective. more boost and fuel = more hp for less.

So i thought about it last night and have decided i will begin putting it back togehter. Soon after i get the car running, i will begin piling up the fuel components as well as tranny components. And if i am lucky maybe even get the turbo stuff all bought and ready for install.
