that depends on what kind of hp you're making. but regardless... a nice set of slicks is going to run you a minimum of $500. the scale in price kind of follows this pattern.

primes(og racers know about these!)-->lenso-->drag on flys-->keizers-->pro-fours=kiezers/beadlock=weldracing

Damn, I didnt think they would be that much. I am making about 225 hyp I am guessing. So something good for 300 hp would do...this is in a 92 hatch.

What about some MT's or hoosiers or something?

slicks regardless of size/brand cost about $170 a side. i think lensos run from $150-$200. drag on flys are about $200-250. kiezers are about the same. look to spend $300+ for the fancy stuff like pro-fours.

im considering selling a two hoosiers size 24x9x13 which have about two passes on them. they aren't even broken in and still have the little prickly things on them. are you interested? ill give you a good deal.

You can get a good pair of used rims and slicks from ebay or get some lensos. im running them with some M/T and love them. The rims cost me 119 apiece and the slicks were like 90. Shop around thats the best way to go. You wont go wrong
ps. Dont forget to get metal valves

Exospeed, or whatever the members name is, is having a sale on slicks/wheels right now. I know it was posted in this forum, but probably got lost in the sauce. You might want to check out the best buys forum, I was there earlier and his thread was on the 1st page.
I am thinking about some 13" Lenso's with some 22" slicks too--but money is a bitch right now and not giving in..

Im going to order them from Les Schwab here locally. They have a really good return policy, so I do all my tire stuff through them, What are "metal valves?"
