Default Sleeving a B18 - anyone in Canada?

I've got a customer who has asked for 400-500hp. In my mind that's like asking for a car that runs either 12's or 11's. In any event I will pull his engine and figure out what broke. From his description I think he may have busted a sleeve. In any event I don't think the stock sleeves will hold up to that amount of boost.

I'm building a 400hp Benson sleeved block right now and I understand he's one of the best out there. Unfortunately he also has a 2-3 mo waiting list. Is there anyone else in Canada to be recommended for sleeving a block? I'm not too partial to those t-top sleeves because of cooling problems. Anyone I should run away from?

That's quite funny. I just finished getting off the phone with him. Seems he can sleeve a block for about $2400 retail. That's a bit higher than Benson but after shipping and stuff it's not really that bad.

(edit - Oops it was Mississauga Engines I was speaking with)

missisauga engines also does goos work i hear......i called them before i called gord bush. gord bush can do the same work for a little less. also both shops use the same CNC machine to cut out the stock sleeves......yes they use a CNC

it was about 1500-1700CAD+tax to re-sleeve the block. includes bore, hone and re-surface.

that does NOT include bottom end assembly.......so the price is pretty good.

Try concepts on wheels, I have a couple motors there already they can sleve a block for around $1400.00 they use AEBS sleves I have seen there work nice job and even if you want a dart block the bring them in aswell.

go to Gord...trust me. He is the best engine builder around here. My boy has a ls block that was re-sleeved to a 2.0l which was done by Gord. He put down 420 whp without any issues.
