its gonna be my dd so im not looking to go crazy i will be looking from anywhere from 320hp to 400hp. now with that said my question is do i need to sleeve my block for this or can i run about 10 psi on my stock block putting down lets say about 370hpfor example ?

i need some feedback cuz everybody i ask says yes and some says no so how much power can my k20 hold without breaking anything ???

Re: to sleeve or not to sleeve ????
The K series is a strong block and can handle your power goal of 370whp DD'd no problem. But the question is, will you be ok staying at that power level? Boost is addicting, if you want to go big later down the road you could sleeve it. If not I'd just leave the stock block for your power goals.

Re: to sleeve or not to sleeve ????
If you have the money to sleeve it, then sleeve it because it'll pay off down the road if you wanna up the boost. If you're trying to save money, then just leave it alone. Make sure you get Hondata/AEM/Neptune or something else and get it tuned.

Re: to sleeve or not to sleeve ????
Absolutely NOT needed for the K-series blocks, Even B-series for that matter at the power level you have outlined. Save that money for a quality tune and let her eat. No need to sleeve for that power level. There are guys making well over 600 on stock k-series blocks with no issues what so ever.

Re: to sleeve or not to sleeve ????
I agree with what's has been said. But if you are going to build it internals and have the block apart and trust me you will want more power down the road. So do it if your doing ur internal since your there. But if your staying at 370 as a DD your fine. I ran 350 on a stock b16 for a year and a half not one problem.

Yup you can hit your goals on the stock k20 with a good tune. When you want more later on then sleeve and build. Just. Remember the most important thing to keep it from blowing up is the tune. Weel that and your foot.

I concur traction would be an issue but that's a good milestone to pass.

ye i kno but ima hook up the boost by gear on the hondata so that should help out with the traction problems or at at least minimizes it
