I remember because it made me just go ahead and start my project with a stock block. I'll be doing a sleeved block in the near future and would like to hear peoples' experiences as well - good and bad.

Wasn't there a big stink with GE blocks having to be line bored etc. not too long ago? Has this now been resolved?

from coast to coast golden eagle blocks let you boost the most! I went with a 84mm b18b1 from golden eagle and i couldn't be more happy they kept me updated throughout the whole thing. The person who handled my order was named Gabe and his customer service was top notch.

I talked to my mechanic today and he said that GE told him that they'd take care of it. I'm not exactly sure what that means, at the moment I'm not sure if they'll pay for the line bore or if that's going to come out of my pocket.

Heads up to all. You will need a align bore whenever you add a girdle, over tighten your main studs, spin a bearing or over heat your engine.
We align bore our cores that we sell if needed.
Call for prices we may cut a deal for honda-tech members.

Re: Sleeve choice?
SEARCH, these threads always turn to **** at about the 3 page mark.LOL. Watch... :O)
That said, 5 years on my GE block.. Now with a hole in the front of it that has been welded up and bored out to 89mm (H22) making 750/575. I wouldnt buy another sleeve after how they (the sleeves) have treated me...
I didnt go the main stud route and stayed with OEM bolts. Had to KISS one main, just to get her perfect. I didnt want to go the half and half bearing route.
ANY Studded bottom end should be line honed/bored after the sleeving.

I did this song and dance for 5 months and ended up going with GE. I think my block is on it's way back right now.
For customer service, phone calls work the best.
BTW, it's a great time for international customers to take advantage of the US dollar.
