Sleeve block deck with o-ring?
I have a golden eagle sleeve block, deck with o-ring. I noticed the sleeves are a bit higher than the deck surface. Do you guys have the same expeirience with this
block and sleeve decking. Because the deck surface is not flat even with the sleeve. Would it affect with the headgasket and have any issue at all from leaking? Or I should just get the deck of the block flat surface even with the sleeve, plz help!! thanks.

That is called a stepped deck and it is there specifically to help the headgasket seal.It is raised to give the headgasket a little better bite on the headgasket
Justice stepdecked, and o-ringed my block. When this is done you would usually use a sock headgasket, or A/M stock thickness headgasket. I think you'll probably here a lot of opinions on this, but I'll give it to my man Jim
