Default skunk2 stage 2 cams

hey guys i have a b18c turbo 6262 .82 built bottom end with fairly stock head work.i was looking to buy some cams but i ended up getting some skunk2 stage 2 cams.

am woundering what these would do for my set up as am trying to cut down spool time and build more power.car is revving 9000 rpm and using a s300

http://www.skunk2.com/mm5/merchant.m...de=305-05-0145

its either these or the stock cams.

uhmm...dumb question but shouldnt you use turbo cams with a turbo set up?

but in answer to your question, i say since you already have the skunk2 cams, no harm in changing out the stock ones.

I was told by a person who knows a thing or two, that these cams like to make more power with less boost. As far as the spool time, if I remember right the S2S2 have stock primary lobes. You might not see gains in the low cam, but you should see a power increase on the high cam. I will be running a set of these on a 2.0L soon. Try them out and let us know.

Too much cam for a turbo setup, the biggest NA cam you should use is a Pro1 and they are only to be used on free-flowing high hp setups (Tubular Manifolds, Good Int Man, Free Flowing Exhaust etc)

The Pro-2's will probably give good midrange gains but your top end will suffer alot.....
