skunk2 pro 3's question
i have a question about getting a set up pro 3's
i am building a sleeved gsr motor.
goal for whp is 800+whp
most likely going to use a stock port head with all valvetain upgraded.
will the pro 3's be to much for the power that im wanting to make?
the block will be a benson sleeved block with corrilo rods and weisco pistons probably going 10:1 compression.
any info would be great. this is my first B series build and wanting to go for a lot of power.
built a few d series last one made 475whp on stock sleeve vitara setup.

stock port head with pro 1's now and buddy club valves
buddy club retainers victor x manifold
top mount with most likely a 6765.

pro3s are too big for boost...pro1s are proven to make power....tony1 broke into the 8s using pro1s so you wont need more than that...
btw i have a fully built jdm itr rlz ported head with ferrea roller rockers and crane cams in the forsale forum..
not for a street car but 800whp isnt streetable anyways....
btw i would go with ferrea valves for boost....best valves on the market..

5000 flat valves? thats just the first valves i found on a quick ebay search
also will the SK2 tuner dual valve springs do the job i need? or should i go with the pro series?
or a different brand?
i always ran supertech with my D16.

Pro3's are ridiculous for boost... All that cam and creating all that abuse on the valvetrain for really no good reasons either.
Anything past Pro1's, you end up closing up all the overlap, unless your engine is insanely built to use up all that duration.
Meaning, if you have a 4" open downpipe, a T6 frame 80mm+ turbo (the bigger the merrier), some sort of straight-shot exhaust manifold, 11.0:1+ CR, and you plan to make 800 WHP at under 20 PSI of boost before exhaust pressures become an issue...LOL
