Hey I have a turbo GSR and am replacing the intake mani.

A buddie of mine has an older skunk2 version for sale for $120 and was wondering if I would notice any difference between it and the newer pro version that I can buy new for $200 shipped. I know the pro looks nicer but this one is cheap and my tuner could not get my butterflys to work on my oem gsr mani right so I just stuck them in the open position. Now I just want to replace the restrictive non working thing.

Any insight on the differences?
Which should I get?

to be honest, if there's ANY difference, it'll be 1-2 whp, which isn't worth the exra 80. let your turbo take care of the power

i have the 1st gen IM, and i'm happy with it. i don't see many problems so everything seems to be okay.

and like you said, you just want to get rid of the butterflies. and the 1st gen will cure it
