Default Skunk 2 Manifold

Hey guys

Atm im running a 400hp turbo h22a. Im taking off the road in a few weeks and planning to come out with around 600hp.

Just a quick question

Is a skunk 2 manifold alright to use on a setup like that?

I just want to make sure as someone told me never to use a skunk 2 manifold with boost.

Cheers

The Skunk2 works great with turbo h22a set-ups.

Here's one we are working on right now that's looking at making around 600whp:

Who made the turbo manifold?

Full-Race... which is discontinued now. In the picture the altenator relocation kit is not installed. I hoped the manifold would have fit a little better... especially in an EG chassis.

What's that black device with sensor and the 2 hoses called? And where are those hoses leading to...water ports? I'm trying to think but don't remember hooking that up to the back of my skunk2 IM. Unless I hooked up my IM wrong.

I placed my IACV in the front of the IM ran two hoses off the blockoff plate to vacuum. The two hoses under the IACV were ran to the water ports on the block. Am I missing something here? Here's the only pic I have showing the IACV:

The newer skunk2 manifolds come with an adapter plate for the IACV since in some chassis's the IACV will hit the firewall. The adatper plate/tubes will give you about another 1" of clearance.

So that right there in the first pic is his IACV? It just looks completely different from mine. Strange?

The IACV he is using looks different. The h22a has a straight and a 90 degree inlet/outlet.

Yea that's what I don't get? The way you described the IACV is how I thought it usually is unless that's not the IACV?

It means it's a different IACV. It may be from an F series motor or something of the like.
