Size turbo manifold??

Default Size turbo manifold??

I wanna now what the best piping size for a turbo manifold is?I have used the search but i couldnt find a thing and maybe you guys can help me out.

if you buy schedulel piping.. 1.5" from mcmaster carr.

if you buy tubing....like from burns 1 3/4, 1 7/8, 2" depending on port size etc.

i think he meant to say buy schedule 10 1.5" piping, preferably 304 stainless steel

Schedule 40 1.5" pipe, which is like 1.610" ID.

It's not really ideal for a lot of higher RPM cars, but it works well anyway. I've used schedule 10 on my own manifold which, I beleive, is 1.69" ID. For a 1.8L-2.0L 4-cylinder motor making peak HP around 9k RPM, 1.75" to 1.875" ID would be closer to ideal however. 1.875" - 2" tubing is more ideal.

I think that 1.5" is to smal because i am looking to get 500whp so i think i can better use 2"

schedule 10 1.5" pipe measures 1.682" I.D....2" O.D I used this on my manifold.
