alright, i want to know who beats the **** out of single cams before they take them out to do a swap?

I know me and my friends give them complete hell all the time and i want to know who does the same.

i took out my single cam on tue night. i tried to drive it a little harder, but everywhere i went there were cops, so the single cam had it easy.

+ a heavy *** civic EX coupe and my 200 lb. ***'s 1st time on a track = 14.8 @ 94mph.

I DID NOT SAY MY CAR WAS FAST.

All I'm saying is that you can't do better than what I have done for the same amount of money N/A, no matter what.

i know people that run their stock sohc d series cars into the 11's with a 150 shot. WHO CARES WHAT YOU SPENT OR HOW HEAVY YOUR CAR IS...

I just don't get why you're so cocky about "beating down" dudes with swaps when you're running 14.8. Nothing personal but if you're gonna talk like some bad *** atleast have something to back it up. Now if you have an 11 sec. Single cam feel free to talk about the idiot who spent 5k on an ITR swap and all the "beat downs" that ensue

I understand where you're coming from to an extent. I was just doing a play on words, honestly I do not consider my car fast by any means. I just thought it'd be fun to mess with someone who thinks that all SOHCs suck.

Re-read what I wrote. I was merely comparing SOHC-T to a stock DOHC swap, that's all. Not SOHC-T vs. DOHC-T, SOHC-T vs. DOHC+spray, etc.

BTW, for what it's worth - when my car hits the track this spring at 10 psi on slicks, it should be in the high 13's no problem. Which, in my opinion, is pretty damn respectable for a "shitty" SOHC in a loaded EX coupe with less than 2k invested. A local here with the same exact setup ran a 12.8 at 10 psi in a DX hatch.
