Silicone or Nitrile?

Default Silicone or Nitrile?

What do you guys think I should go with? I'm about to finally replace my shitty leaking homedepot couplings. Nitrile still seems like its temp rating is a little low like 227 degrees. But $27 for 3 ft. So does anyone have any input?

celcius? Where do you expect temperatures to exceed 227 degrees?
