Default silencer for my muffler?

OK, so i have a 3" straight through exhaust with a magnaflow oval es muffler on my turbo teg and surprise, surprise, my car is loud as hell. That doesn't bother me so much, but it does get to me on long car trips. The drone just kinda makes one go crazy. So my question is, can i make a silencer to put on the tip of the muffler that won't hurt anything and would actually work? If so, how?

Thanks,
Chris

I am not exactly sure what the muffler looks like but i am sure if you are good with metals, or no someone that can make one it could work, the whole point of a sliencer is that it just forces the exhaust gases through a smaller whole at the end of the tail pipe, so a smaller pipe that will fit through the muffler to where the pipe connects to the muffler and sits securley would work, probibly wont be too easy though.

Aside from a sliencer i would just have a resonator put on it, JMO
