Haha JK, looks good...must be pretty loud though.
Mine was.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Try open header NA for two weeks. Going to open downpipe is just like switching to a Cadillac.
Ive always run open downpipes. Exhausts are too much hassle, and ****, open downpipes make more power anyway. Thats what this is all about right?

i run open dp at the track , i pulled the R off the road now . will prob bring it back out sometimes, so i was thinking of doing this same thing.
is it a myth of running open header/dp too long will burn valves or what?

only reason i would think would be ultra high egt's. from the higher flowing exhaust. (lean condition) i think if you got it tuned with open dp you wouldnt have a problem with it.

Hey guys i have a question, my friend has a gsr turboed he ran it for a few days open DP and it had power put when he got his exaust all done it had more power< is there a reason for this?
Im gonna run a gsr turboed also and i was thinking about open DP is there that much of a diffrence and how loud is it rreally??
I would hate to get pulled over for it especially since my license was revoked!!!

Well, the original plans were for a full race car, but we decided to put the motor into a street car/racecar. We do run very high boost with this setup, that is why we run such low compression.

the problem is when cold ambient air can enter the exhaust port and cool the valve just after it was super heated by the exhaust. I can see if you were running only the top half of a 2 piece header where you might have a problem but definately not with a turbo manifold and turbo in place.

its a ht 300, it is equivelent to a t 76... except it has a 1.15 a/r back housing, real difference is in the major diameter of the compressor and the minor diameter of the turbine. the next difference is in the sheer size of the housing...not to many people have heard of schwitzer or holset or kkk..
