Default Si cable tranny vs Dx

Right now I have both a dx tranny and a si tranny. Either one can be used on my ef project (d16 with eagle rods and probably je pistons...i wanna make around 275 whp). I know the Si tranny has a bit shorting gearing but is no that much different then the dx. I do have a 7lb fly wheel in the si tranny right now that could be transfered over the dx tranny if i need to know. I just want to know if the dx tranny with a lightened fly would be any better for me then the si?
