Just print this thread and pack it with the block. Easy instructions on how to get to the block.

hehe...I was going to leave Earl some instructions in the box on how do get the box out....

So Earl, if your not as smart as you make us all thing you are, all you have to do is open the box, remove the top 6 screws, remove the top layer of foam board, remove the 4 news paypars I waded up in there, then remove the block.

Great post. </TD></TR></TABLE>

yeah ups is a bunch of **** suckers... Im still going threw **** with my hytech charge pipe. UPS damaged my charge pipe, it had two dings it. they blamed it on packaging.

The actual charge pipe/intercooler was wraped in fleeze, and the box was stuffed with news paper and packing paper, tons and tons of it.. the box was even damaged from ups..

Its been maybe 6 months, i still havent gotten my charge pipe/intercooler back. THey delined the claim also.. they are **** suckers..
I still dont know, whos gonna fix it. Im probadly gonna hve to spend another 200-300 dollars for a new one.

I'm going through drama with UPS as well. I sent a bare B20 block I had from my abandoned N/A B20VTEC project that I was going to do to my Si out to someone in Cali and the homos managed to crack the friggin sleeves! The thing was packed as secure as can be-plywood shoring, padding, and tons of styrofoam peanuts. I must admit though, it was nowhere near as good of a packing job as the block in this post-nicely done! So now I'm waiting on them to get back to me with my insurance money. Hopefully it pans out. I want my friggin money!

I just got back from FedEx. The ship weight was 77.30 lbs. It cost $40.58 to ship the block from Salem OR to Ivring CA. Wasn't as much as I thought it was going to cost

I am thinking a nice 5 lb little hand sledge will get it open. If that fails 10 lb full size sledge. Looks like something my dad would do.

HAHA! I did that **** too! Science Olympiad or something...

I used a Crown Royal bag(that caused a stink with the teachers) with beans in the bottom of it, paper wads to hold a styrafoam 6" egg with the center hollowed out with some gauze wrapping the actual egg.

Worked great, and STUCK. Didn't bounch when it hit the target!
