Default SFP manifold....

i just put a SFP manifold on my boosted LS. but the way the runners are set up i cant get the dip stick in the hole cause one of the studs from the head is blocking it....has any one else had this problem? for a temp. fix i bent the dipstick tube to the drivers side alittle so i can get it thourgh the next runner, but i was told this will throw the dip stick off alittle. can any one help me out here?!? and also if you have a sfp mani, how did u tighten the middle bolt? i cant tighten that at all!

Bending the handle of the dipstick won't "throw" anything off. How can that affect anything?

I tightened the bolt up by hand as much as I could and then managed to fit a 12mm wrench. My dipstick still fits in there, Once you tighten that bolt you might be able to fit the dipstick in there. Just tighten it as much as you can by hand and then youll be able to fit a wrench, at least I was able to. Good luck.

I was able to tighten it from the top, without the dipstick on there. Like I said, tighten it all you can by hand then try to stick the wrench in there, it might be that my wrench is thinner or something.

I fixed it by taking the stud out from the head and replacing it with a bolt.

uhm, my head only has 2 studs one on each end, the rest are bolts, thats probably why I managed to do it.
