Default sema, to me

Sema this year for me was pretty weird, it certianly had its ups and downs. For one it was amazing to see how imports are DOMINATING the entire market. About 85% of sema was import related. even in the truck/suv section on the 2nd floor, there were hondas all over. Pretty neat. The fabrication quality on the desert race trucks was amazing, i doubt any one else on here really checked them out, but those are the best mechanical engineering examples in the automotive industry. Absolutely amazing

A lot of the honda guys there, were really just showing off their new cars and showed to be an arrogant bunch of high schoolers. I didnt get any flak but other people in the industry (non import related) mentioned this to me. Disheartening, but thats the way things go. We saw curtis, formerly of maxrev, bragging to us that he had a meeting with mazdaspeed, yippeeee! he can screw them over now too lol.

As far as my stuff went, i drove up to vegas and back in 1 day to throw a turbo setup on a car. Apparently as soon as people noticed the turbo setup that is all that they cared about. No one cared about their "bolton lamborghini doors" or their "auto opening and closing trunk lid" devices, so the hood stayed shut all week, for no one to see. Oh well... and so goes life.

Earl and Mike laskey got the final prototype of the full race manifold Revision B (race only) and fit it on their 9 second crx (soon to be 8s ) and we will be working togther by flow benching our manifolds vs everyone elses on the market to finally have solid exhaust manifold data, something this market is lacking.

Stans car was stolen and i hope the theives pay for this, if anyone *didnt* deserve this, its stan.

here are pics of the car anyway, the car is Andy From BodyKits NW on here.

Stan, Flamenco-T?? Damn, where and when did it get stolen? I remember he just got his car running and he was having headgasket problem like a week ago.

i want to sexor that mani so bad
its sad but really the import scene has become way too many highschoolers who want to show off their washer nozzle lights. whether it be a big show or smaller local shows. its usually the same garbage.(sema looked to be alright though)
im still shocked about stan.
I think honda-tech forced induction board needs to make up their own SHOW!!!
cars with significant upgrades only.(n/a fi..whatever as long as something has made it much faster) ..hmmm that would be cool.

SEMA was cool. I wish SO BADLY that Stans car hadn't been stolen for obvious reasons and so that we could all have met up again at the show and cruized around looking at stuff.

It was really cool to meet such a wonderful pack of guys, and lady (can't leave Tricia out )

Geoff it was great hanging out with you guys for the couple of days that Dustin and I were there. Many many props to you for designing that crazy thing. Kudos to welders as well, they make it sound like welding that crap was soooo easy and nonchalant. The construction of it is absolutely superb!

You have a great thing going on here and I wish you the best of luck.

Considering this was a car show, common sense tells me the car was most likely trailered down there just for the show considering it was not finished yet. A car doesnt just run without intercooler piping, does it?

i thought it would have been obvious that the car doesnt have these things becuase it isnt finished. no coil, radiator, piping, FPR, etc. TONS missing. i didnt realize i would have to answer that question, sorry.

Here's one from our shop. Not a truck but a sand rail we should all be jealous of. S2000 with Benson sleeves. I had to pull the head. Pretty trick. BTW, this thing runs on methanol, has an Autronic engine mgmt. If you look closely, you can see a 5th injector squirting meth directly into the intake air stream for extra mixture cooling. Autronic controls this also.

G & S Performance Engr...soon to be called Strader Performance Engr. Ben Strader is the resident genius. Engine and chassis dynos, state of the art flow bench, etc. He is our major sponsor and is an authorized Autronic dealer, installer and tuner. (He tunes most brands of stand alones but not Hondata)

I want one coming out of the side in front of the slicks, but not 100% sure just because I dont know what I will have up front so I need to do see where everything will fit before I design the downpipe
