Default Scratching my head...help

I have an AEM UEGO wideband...b18c1, rc310 and hondata s300. When im WOT my a/f numbers actually richen up...going from 13.5-11.5. I have "lean protection" on for fuel cut, so when its hitting the 11.5 it hits fuel cut, and i let out...what the deal? should i be leaning out under boost?

and the higher the number on the gauge the leaner the car. 11.5 would be rich. 13.5 would be more lean.?

yes..lower is actually richer.

so 11.5 on a wide bad is quite rich in boost.12.5 being max rich power while 13.5 and up is a big NO for boosted cars for na applications its just perfect...

if the car has already been tuned your tuner put it at that level to allow a bit more cooling in boost.

thats a little on the lean side for me, I tune my cars from 11.5 -11.8 wot for boost depending on psi and setup and 12.8-13.2 na.

Sorry for the lack of info, yes it is boosted. And i traded the car for my bike. He built it and had it "tuned" but the car ran like crap, so i took the tune of s300, and have started from scratch. I guess i was bass-ackwards, for some reason, i thought lower the number was lean, and higher the number was rich...my thinking was "air-fuel" so the lower the more air was in the mixture, and the higher the number meant more fuel in the mixture. DOH!

Anyways, im using the s300, and stock fuel pump, and rc310 injectors, so without me touching the fuel maps, i would think the 310s dump more fuel as they sit, and i found it odd that it richens under boost...i would think it would lean out as i am forcing more air in?

Am i just retarded or what do you all think? lol

ok those are good numbers when tuning too but the power difference between 11.5 to say 12 is barely 1%...on the other hand the difference of 11 and 12.5 afr is about 3-5%..

and from the sound of his setup with 310cc injectors hes pob just running 5-7psi.... so him running 12.5 afr hell be ok even on stock timing....

just ensure the car is not running anything below 11 afr or that will significantly kill the power of your car

Crashsvg, i am on the 310, my boost guage shows 10lbs, s300 boost cut is at 10lbs, and im on a stock map, so 10lbs is it. havent explored timing, keep the car above 11 afr, because below 11 is tooo rich. what else can you guys learn me? lol
