Re: Score of the week
Looks good man.
Pressure test that wastegate for leaks before you use it.
I guaranteed it has a leak from the mounting bolts. I had one of those a few years back.
Took it apart put gasket. Maker on the screws and held boost nice and solid.
Post pics of the inside fins of the intercooler to see if its an ebay unit.
Good trade regardless, ill trade one of my 5 v.c. for that anyday.

Re: Score of the week
lets see
ebay cast manifold
turbonetics deltagate wastegate
ebay intercooler
a generic vacuum block
and what might be a genuine greddy type s bov
not really a score
I have a 25,000 dollar turbo on my desk.... thats the score of a lifetime....

Re: Score of the week
i know :p
and what are your power goals?
the manifold might be wrong for it
the intercooler might be too small
the deltagates ae notorious for having spiking/boost control issues so you'll probably need a new wastegate

Re: Score of the week
The delta gates are fine.
Its a mechanical part not much magic for them to suddenly spike for no apart reason.
Intercooler looks fine.
Bov looks fine
Mani looks like every other cast. I've seen.
Too much hate in here.

Re: Score of the week
the deltagates don't have a lot of valve travel like a tial.. and when you put that in a place with sub-par wastegate placement, say an ebay cast mani with the wg flange on one cylinder then the wastegate can't bleed enough gasses to keep boost in check... this was a huge issue when the drag kits came out, sub par wastegate placement + the deltagate meant creep for days, eventually drag had to replace them with tial 38s
not hating, hes just trying to sound like he just won the ebay lottery. the only thing of realy value is the greddy type s (if its real) they sell for dumb amounts of money on ebay

Re: Score of the week
Not from what I remember.
I owned a delta gate about 4 years back. It did creep but because it wasn't sealed right. Took it apart sealed any leaks. Held boost great on a p.o.s mini ram.
The valve seemed to travel plenty as much as my tial I have now.

Re: Score of the week
maybe 50 at most for the manifold (its an ebay china copy after all)
50 for the intercooler at most (again, small ebay core good for maybe 300ish max)
50-75 for the wastegate
100-125 for the blow off valve
thats the high end of what you can expect, things aren't selling like they used to and especially not china parts.... those go dirt cheap

Re: Score of the week
haha no. most valve covers go for 100+, i've seen asshats try to sell haggard itr covers for 150-175
if its in good shape with a decent finish, expect 100-125
if its chipping, scratched, etc then 40 maybe.. I get mine for 25 because I only get ones that need to be refinished... so in a way, you got played.
and why you ask?
most knowledgeable honda people WILL NOT buy new ebay parts, much less used ones

Re: Score of the week
I see valve covers catch can ready for $100 all the time. I see valve covers for 50 bux all yhe time. Hell a shop around here sells em for $100 + core for any color you want powder coated. One never seen anyone ask more then a $100 for a plain Jane black one. And just because someone tries to gouge on the price does not make it the norm lol.
Hell the price you told him on what he would get for the BOV alone is worth more then the valve cover and you tell him he got played lol.

You are what's wrong with the car community. 14,000 posts and every post i've seen so far takes away from the scene. A guy flips a valve cover that could be worth $50-150 tops, gets a bov, wastegate, manifold, vac box, and intercooler and you call the guy a retard? Shut the **** up. Who the **** cares if a turbo manifold is used? You seem like a fanboy try hard.

Re: Score of the week
i never called him a retard
he traded the valvecover for these parts thinking he could make some huge profit, I was smply giving him typical prices of used ebay stuff so he wouldnt get his hopes crushed when he tried to sell them.
can he make more money then selling the valvecover? yes
enough to buy wheels and an exhaust? no
and yes Im an *******... deal with it

He should make a nice profit assuming he can flip them... it's been hard selling stuff lately due to how shitty our economy is. I can't even sell new genuine parts for half their value SMH
