Well we finally made it to Cali . After 1500 miles and 24 hours of straight driving I'm so glad to be here. We only had a couple problems on the way here: melted the wires once for the trailer hookup and ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere Texas (damn it takes forever to get out of that state). Let's just say Jeep Grand Cherokees don't mind a couple gallons of 116 octane . I'll keep you guys updated with what happens in the Street car Challenge in the next few days.

What up fools? Today was long as hell. We got to K&N headquarters at 8 A.M. and didn't finish untill almost 9 P.M. They did the dyno and all the driveability tests, fuel economy, emissions, etc. Too much stuff to talk about it here (plus I don't know if I'm supposed to talk about it ). Tomorrow we do 1/4 mile, 20-100 m.p.h. acceleration, braking, skid pad, road course, and gross display of horsepower. The roads around here are so bad ***! You definately want a very good handling car around here. Oh, I also saw the exit for Crenshaw Blvd. off the highway. I wanted to hang out with the boyz in the hood but we had to go somewhere. See you guys when I get back.

I ran a 10.94@139mph here in Albuquerque at 5500 ft. I have not really spent much time tuning it so it has plenty more in it. I only made one pass at that boost level and then I couldn't run the car anymore because I was missing some safety equipment. The car weighs approximately 2240 with me in it so I suppose it is in the 470-480 range? Does that sound about right?

Oh, and it doesn't have a Ford 9" in it. It has a IRS 8.8 in it, BIG DIFFERENCE!

Congrats to you Andrew and those that helped. Hope you do well!

Skyler

at what hp range do miata owners start breaking rear ends. How hard would it be to swap an rx7 rear in. Also doesnt the miata and s2000 use the same rear end assembly
