Safe To Start??

Default Safe To Start??

finishing my setup (91 ls teg ) and i have the turbo on but not run to my intercooler just open, no downpipe till i go get it made..(towing it there) 450 injectors walbro fuel pump obd conversion, P06 ECU with uberdata with my basemap set. out of curiosity would it be safe to start??..after priming the turbo of course.

you could start it. I wouldn't drive around a buch or anything.

Just wait around til you get things done.

You might wanna make sure that your exhaust isn't gonna melt anything.

Its internally gated..wastegate shouldnt work if I were to start it as is correct? I mean theres no back pressure so its all kinda bypassing the hose, therefore I'll have to wait till i get it run to my IC and a downpipe.

are you talking about boosting....OMG WAIT D00D. I thought you just wanted to start it up...which technically you could do, but don't rev it and for sure as hell don't drive around and REALLY don't boost cause for sure you will overspin your turbo and melt things in your engine bay. Patience will be rewared

ya lol thats what i figured. i had it started for about 10 seconds this morning to see if my drain line was still leaking. i figured at idle it cant spin too much and nothin major in 10 seconds . should have everything finished up in the next week just need to find out how i wana route my IC piping on the one side. thanks guys, definately won't be starting it again until im done.

actually its so overwhelmingly loud, and it wont spool with no back pressure nor did i give it gas but overwhelmingly loud in my book is always a good thing..well not always
