Default Rust on T3/T4...

Hey, what are you guys using and where to get it to coat your turbine housings? Wanna de-rust and coat mine before I put my LS rebuild back together.

Any kind of high temp paint should work...you could get it ceramic coated. I had mine coated by The Shodan when i bought it from him. It looks great and has held up so far

Hes saying that it is on the wrong stud. Should be on the other one that is shown.

i'm sure that it will work the same regardless of what stud its on...its contacting metal

Actually it wont't ground unless its on the stud, the metal on the valve cover has a rubber gasket all around. the stud threads into the actual head itself. As they say, the devil is in the details.

Got some 1500* Krylon paint. Think I'm gonna polish and do the compressor housing also. (different color) I'll post picz when done.

thats funny, just last night i moved my boys ground from the stud to that spot thinking that it has more contact area, but now thinking about it i was wrong.

VC has a complete rubber seal so u would infact need the ground on the stud, maybe more than the one stud provided in stock situations would be a benifit.

thanks for pointing that out.and once again honda out smarts me.
