Default Running gas/c16

Ok this is comeing from someon who doesn't know much about tuning so I'll give it my best shot not to make myself look really dumb.

Can your car have base maps for both to where you can switch over to either or depending on what your doing. I realize you would have to clear the cars system of the opposite gas before doing this (if possible).

If this isn't possible, I take it C16 is just for getting max power out of your car on the dyno and/or strictly racing (can't run it in a street car)

I will probably have to make it more clear on some of the questions I've asked but I'll wait until someone if confused and flames me.

ok to clear you up....

yes you can run 2 maps, one as as "street map" and one as your "race only map" whcih can be on any octane you choose.. ie: 110, 112, 116 100.... and yes you can run c16 in a street car, i do it all the time..

Default Re: (adSPEED)

But in order to run the c16 in a street car don't you have to use up as much of the standard fuel first so it does screw with your motor when you swith it to the other map?
