I saw this on blaastperformance, Anybody running two wastegates out there?

 

we seem to run 2 wastegates on anything making big power now a days


god the wastegate location on those wastegate is about **** poor. it might need 4 wastegates haha

som eof the twin gate setups are because of the divided top mounts too.

True some are BUT some are just due to bad boost creep in certain manifold designs BUT companies like Full Race have come up with different designs on their new manis for the wastegate inlet. Maybe someone will post a pic of one of the newer manifolds with the teardrop design

 

the new full-race inlets are badass...when i first opened up the last one that came through here i was like NICE.....and sure enough it held boost dead nuts solid on the car we installed it on and tuned too. 310whp stock internal b16 10psi gt30r, the car was a blast to drive untill the clutch decided it wasnt strong enough haha

Joe, when I ordered my Top Mount with the divided collector it was supposed to be the new Teardrop design BUT when I opened up the box I was like "WTF!!!!" Two wastegates, now I gotta go buy another

 

haha your better off with 2 especially with divided collector

plus your not cool unless you have 2 wastegates now duh
