Do you have a wideband oxygen sensor installed in the vehicle ?
If not, you really should have one to see what is going on.

Also, is the vehicle throwing any codes ?

I have a feeling the wire tuck has something to do with your issue.
Check all of your ground signal & power wires again along with your resistor box wiring.

day 2 still nothing decide to pull out the plugs and recheck them their flooded with gas...i also did a test to see if there is spark and there is....The motor takes time to turn on and then ill just run super rich i start pulling spark plug wires while the car is running to see if the motor start sounding worser and it does with 1,2,3 cylinders but when i pull #4 spark plug wire it does not do anything to the engine...engine still runs the same without wire 4..weird..cause i check if there is spark and there is....will the computer be sending a screwed up firing order...i am clueless...i spend 4 hours trying to troubleshoot and nothing...

since you did a wire tuck make sure the injector plugs are going to the right cylinders and they're working. other than that a compression check wouldn't hurt but i dont see why it would be a problem because it ran fine before

how does it idle? irratic? if so, try checking the tps sensor and iacv plugs. they look exactly alike and plug in alike. and could be plugged in the wrong sensors. could be the problem. just my opinion tho.

i had this problem b4 acouple months back... but i cant remember wat it was... i checkd so many things, but i think it was the iacv that was the problem. but i know in your case that you didnt touch anything after you removed/ installed the motor.

Edit: back a couple post i said tps and iacv, i meant tps and map sensor. sheck those out. if u did disregard this.

I'm having the same exact problem on my H22. I'm completely stumped!

We first thought it was a wiring or ecu problem seeing that I have a P06 vtec ecu from phearable. However, when I took it to the tuner, his personal ecu that he uses to tune with also didn't work.

(I'm getting a check engine with the old ecu & also with the new one)
Pulled the codes:

IAT
ECT
Vtec Pressure switch

It runs with the old P13 ecu and stock injectors, but doesn't want to start all the time with the new p06 ecu and 880cc injectors. When it does start with the p06 & 880s, it runs super rich, smokes, and I have throttle response issues.

I'm at a lost here. Any help is appreciated.

Going to perform a compression and leak down test see if the numbers are good...reason is motor runs the same if #4 spark plug wire is out do not know why but their is spark and fuel..
